What I Wore to Milan Fashion Week

It was a dream to walk down the streets during Milan Fashion Week in this outfit, and not to mention, also enjoy a classy cup of tea at 10 Corso Como Cafe. My Day 1 look started the weekend off right with one of my favorite trends: a white flowy blouse. Milan Fashion Week was my cloud nine.
I put this outfit together only a week before leaving for Milan. I knew I wanted to wear my white blouse with its delicate ruffles and cinched wrists from Zara, but I didn’t know what to pair it with at first. If you’re looking for great blouses, I’d suggest finding one at Zara. The one I’m wearing comes in black and dusty pink as well.
I finally found this beautiful vintage Moschino green leather dress in the Roman neighborhood of Monti, at an adorable vintage store called Flamingo. If you are visiting Rome soon or eventually and love vintage, visiting Monti is a must! It’s not too far from the Colosseum. I knew this dress would pair perfectly with my blouse, and the gold accent buttons work well with my gold boots from Topshop.
These gold boots are one of my favorite statement pieces and a staple for my fashion week outfits. I also bought these tights from Goldenpoint, which is a store in Italy that sells super cute socks, leggings, and tights. Definitely going to buy more things from there before the semester ends!
The cutest part of my outfit was my purse, of course. My new purse was only $30, and much like the rest of my closet, it was purchased in Rome. It’s very versatile and fits everything I need: camera, wallet, sunglasses, etc. The details are stitched birds that are pink, blue, and white and it is from Parfois’ new Spring collection.
My fuzzy bunny keychain did not come with the bag. I found it at a very popular flea market in Rome called Porta Portese which happens every Sunday. It was $10 and I had to have it because it reminds me of my bunnies at home!
I had been looking forward to this past weekend for months. I am so fortunate I had the chance to go to Milan during Fashion Week! I hope you enjoyed this post because it is the first of many that I will be posting from MFW, so keep an eye out! Let me know in the comments below what you want to know about Milan or fashion week and also tell me what your favorite part of this outfit is!
