Q: Why did you start your blog?
A: I started my blog because I wanted to assist this generation of young ladies who have trouble finding their inner sparkle.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is very versatile. One minute I want to wear leather jackets and the next I’m in pastel pencil skirts. I love to show the other sides of me through my clothing choices.
Q: What is one thing that has made you the person you are today?
A: My background. My parents have always been very supporter and involved throughout my journey of understanding who I truly am. Who is Micah?
Q: Who or what inspires your style?
A: June Ambrose, Elisa Johnson, and the Beckerman twins
Q: What has been your crowning moment?
A: My crowning moment would be when I launched my REMIX of my new blog, I felt like the queen of fashion.
Q: If you could go out to dinner with one person, dead or alive, who would you pick?
A: If I could go out to dinner with a person, it would be Audrey Hepburn. She was a fashion icon then and she still is now. She’s a little thang of elegance and class. She’s bold and strong. She’s inspiring and I’d love to share fashion secrets and just learn how she did it!
Q: If you could give your younger self one piece of advice, what would it be?
A: “Micah, boys will always be there. CHILL OUT!”
Q: Besides fashion, what other hobbies do you have?
A: I study Russian Ballet, I sing, and I love decorating events and hosting them.
Q: Where do you want to see yourself and your blog in a year from now?
A: I would like to see myself in Milan sipping an espresso on the phone with my employees asking them if the task was done. As far my blog, I want to inspire the next girl who wants to make the world awesome!
Q: We saw you went to FashBash this year! Could you tell us more about it?
A: Yes, The FASHBASH was an A-List event for rich fancy Detroiters. I networked and met with so many people. It’s a secret, but I’m meeting to head of the Neiman Marcus board to talk business. It’s a night that made me reflect on the start of my fashion career.
