What I Would Wear to New York Fashion Week

What I Would Wear to New York Fashion Week

What I Would Wear to New York Fashion WeekSeptember is truly one of the most exciting months in Fall, especially for us fashion girls. I always stand on the sidelines in adortion as I watch countless YouTube videos from bloggers about their fashion week experiences. This season I will not be attending New York Fashion Week, but I do hope to be there in Februray. I did, however, travel to Milan during fashion week last winter.

I’m not one to wear much red, but I fell instantly in love with this outfit the minute I put it on. I believe it is fashion week worthy; what do you think? I transformed this babydoll dress from SheIn with a red leather belt to compliment my shape. I’ve gotten a lot of comments from people thinking this was a Vivetta dress but it is not! Until I have the money to spend, I usually budget myself when it comes to clothing. My motto? You can always make something inexpensive look high fashion if you’re inventive!

    Hi Gigi,

Your face is stunning! Are you sure you weren’t a model at NYFW this season?
Anyway, just wanted to say that I totally agree with your motto. What’s the saying called? You can buy designer clothes, but you can’t buy style? Style really is all about how you piece things together. When I was in high school, I shopped 90% at thrift stores, and I loved the outfits I wore! Fashion is all about being creative and having fun! You don’t always have to spend a ton of money to look great & feel great!
