Experiencing Milan Fashion Week has been a dream of mine since I started blogging, and now it’s finally coming true. After almost 3 years of blogging, I am finally starting to get a handle on it all. Although I have not been invited to any shows in Milan yet (I am still hopeful), I am looking forward to meeting other bloggers, style icons, brands, and photographers. Who knows what this weekend has in store!
Planning to go to Milan during Fashion Week hasn’t been all that easy. First off, my Airbnb canceled on us 6 days before our trip which was a real nightmare that I dealt with at midnight on Saturday. Luckily I was able to find another place in our budget. I pray to God that no other problems come our way!
On Sunday, I went shopping for a few last minute outfit essentials; I can’t wait to post photos of what I am wearing! Some of the pieces I will be wearing include a handmade dress from a boutique in Rome, vintage Moschino, and killer heeled boots. I also can’t wait to watch all the street style outside of the shows!
And finally, today I received the last thing I needed before Milan Fashion Week: business cards. Business cards are always important when you are meeting a ton of cool people you want to keep in touch with. I am so happy with the way they turned out, and the fact that I found a website who would deliver them to me in Italy; thank you Vista Print!
I’ve spent a lot of time prepping for this trip and I could not be more excited. I may start crying when we pull into the train station in Milano. It’s been 3 years since I started doing what I love and it’ll be a whirlwind to have a longtime dream come true in just a few short days. Thank you for all the love and support a long the way! Next time we talk I’ll be back from Milano! XOXO.
